Most student jobs teach you how a company works. This one teaches you how to build one. We are Cerebro, an early-stage healthtech startup tackling the chronic care problem in primary care and we're looking for someone to help us land our first customers this summer.

Quick one about us

Primary care has a major problem: GPs are drowning in work, patientstops everywhere. Practices lose hours tracking chronic patients through endless Excel sheets and emails, losing oversight of who needs what and when. They work reactively. The result: time lost to admin, care teams underused and chronic patients slipping through the cracks only to return with avoidable complications.

Without giving GPs better tools, we'll fail to make primary care accessible for everyone. At Cerebro, we're solving this by building a digital platform that turns this chaos into structure. We support GP practices in delivering proactive, personalised chronic care.

We work from the Wintercircus in Ghent and are backed by imec.istart, Belgium's leading startup accelerator.

What makes Cerebro stand out?

  • We build WITH doctors: Every feature is validated by the people who'll actually use it.
  • We're young and mission-driven: Yes, we want to build a successful company. But we're here because we believe primary care is broken and needs fixing. That mission drives every decision we make.
  • We move fast: Startup pace means you'll see the impact of your work within days, not months.
  • What you'll do?

  • Outreach to GP practices across Flanders: calling, emailing and introducing Cerebro to prospective customers.
  • Building and maintaining a structured outreach database (CRM) of leads and prospects.
  • Preparing and joining demo calls and sales conversations together with Jeff.
  • Going on the road to practices for in-person prospect interviews and demos.
  • Collecting feedback from GPs and translating it into actionable insights for the team.
  • Thinking along on sales strategy and pitch: what works, what doesn't, and why.
  • Supporting preparation for events, conferences and networking moments in the healthcare sector.
  • What you bring?

  • You're a student or recent graduate, available for at least 4 weeks in July, August and/or September 2026.
  • You have an interest in entrepreneurship, digital health, or sales. You don't need to be an expert, you just want to understand it.
  • You're a strong communicator: comfortable calling, emailing and talking to people you've never met.
  • You're not afraid of rejection, you see it as part of getting better.
  • You're curious and ask enough questions.
  • You take initiative, think along and work well independently. You don't wait to be told what to do.
  • You're structured and precise: you keep overview, follow up and let nothing fall through the cracks.
