AI Platform Engineer
We're looking for an AI platform engineer to join our ambitious and mission driven team.
About Dockflow
We make logistics & supply chain people’s lives better by building the world’s first LogOps Platform
The SaaS application launched in 2021
Last year Dockflow tracked over $21B worth of cargo across 15,000 companies
Our customers are located all around the world and we’re constantly in a truly global setting
The HQ is in Antwerp, one of the world’s leading container ports
Our culture is driven by radical candor and enjoying the process of scaling a company
About the job
Every day, our platform takes in data from over 120 ocean carriers, terminal systems, AIS vessel positions and IoT sensors: hundreds of thousands of status updates, location points and temperature readings. The backend turns that into one reliable picture of the world’s container flows, feeds the models that predict delays and flag exceptions, and serves it all back to logistics teams through our APIs, automations and AI agents (customers already ask about their shipments through our ChatGPT connector). Somewhere in that pipeline is where you’ll work, and real people planning real containers feel it the same day when something breaks. That’s the responsibility, and the fun.
Your objectives
About you
– Comfortable with messy external data. Carrier APIs and terminal feeds are inconsistent by nature; you enjoy turning that into something clean and trustworthy
– Comfortable with ambiguity: you help define the roadmap, not just execute it
– You use AI to handle the grunt work (boilerplate, research, drafts) so your time goes into the hard problems
– Fluent English. Dutch is a plus
– Logistics, supply chain or forwarding experience is a plus, not a requirement
