We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help us push the boundaries of automation and AI. You’ll wear multiple hats: building with customers in mind, exploring the latest AI tech, and shipping robust, scalable solutions.

The opportunity ✨

At Karomia we do things a bit different! As an AI Engineer at Karomia, you’ll will get to wear 3 very important hats. Balancing these hats is a big challenge but equally exciting:

  • 🤠 Customer Hat:

    • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their sustainability reporting needs. Translate insights into product enhancements that deliver clear, tangible value through automated reporting solutions.

  • 🎓 AI Research Hat:

    • Stay at the forefront of AI advancements. Regularly explore emerging AI technologies and assess how they can be effectively integrated into Karomia’s products to improve reporting automation and impact measurement.

  • 🎩 Developer Hat:

    • Rapidly implement new AI technologies. Stay agile and proactive by integrating emerging AI tools and frameworks into the product. Ensure fast, reliable, and scalable implementation of new technologies, translating research insights directly into functional, production-ready solutions.

    Your responsibilities 🚀

  • Build AI-Powered Features:

    • Develop and deploy AI-driven functionalities that enhance and automate sustainability reporting processes, directly contributing to Karomia’s mission.

  • Design AI Workflows:

    • Architect intuitive, efficient AI pipelines and user interactions that make complex tasks seamless for end-users.

  • Integrate Emerging AI Technologies:

    • Continuously assess and implement new models, frameworks, and tools to keep Karomia’s product at the forefront of innovation.

  • Ensure Scalable AI Infrastructure:

    • Contribute to the design and maintenance of scalable, efficient backend systems capable of supporting advanced AI workloads in production.

  • Collaborate Across Teams:

    • Work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and sustainability experts to deliver cohesive, AI-powered product improvements.

  • Drive Experimentation and Testing:

    • Set up frameworks to evaluate, test, and deploy machine learning models and AI features, ensuring high performance and reliability.

  • You speak fluent OpenAPI, orchestrate endpoints like a well-structured prompt, and always uv sync within our team to tokenize feedback and improve your outputs.
  • You engineer prompts, tune hyperparameters, and deploy LLMs like a pro, ensuring your models don’t just overfit but deliver real value.
