We give job seekers one place to manage their entire journey—a single dashboard for applications, interviews, follow‑ups, insights, and progress, so they stay organized and in control. On the employer side, we’re building a new kind of recruitment engine—myJobbox for companies replaces “post and pray” with direct talent activation: automated job delivery, real‑time candidate signals, and instant connections with top talent—without the manual workload.
Your mission as our CTO / Co‑Founder
As CTO / Co‑Founder, you will own our entire technology landscape—defining the technical strategy, architecture, roadmap, and engineering execution needed to scale the product. You’ll lead the development of a high‑impact, scalable platform, coach a backend developer, manage external tech partners, and communicate our technology vision to partners, customers, and investors. You’ll also track KPIs and IT budgets to ensure strong, sustainable performance.
In your first 6–12 months, success means:

Delivering a clear and scalable architecture that supports both our candidate platform and employer integrations,

Accelerating product iteration without compromising reliability or security,

Establishing solid DevOps foundations (CI/CD, observability, cost control),

Building a robust data model that enables analytics and ML opportunities,

Creating a focused, high‑performing engineering rhythm with crisp communication and visible progress.
You might be our CTO / Co‑Founder if…
First and foremost: you’re motivated to join a start-up as a co‑founder but you also bring:

Entrepreneurial mindset with a (Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

A long-term vision and the desire to build close to the business.

Self-starting energy, team spirit, and calm under pressure (with a sense of humor).

The willingness to do what’s needed: leverage your network, unblock progress fast, and trade short-term comfort for long-term impact.

Experience building machine learning products and data modelling.

DevOps experience and comfort managing builds and deployments.

Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Familiarity with (or excitement to build in) our stack: Microsoft Azure, C#, SQL, Vercel, React, Next.js, Tailwind, …

Ideally: previous startup experience or a strong mix of big-company and “build-from-scratch” experience.

Language skills: Dutch & English
