We are looking for a part-time freelance marketing professional who is strong in communication and reliable in execution. The core of the role is setting up and maintaining clear email communication to our different customer segments, from initial setup to final execution. You will run structured communication flows, support product and release communication, and make light updates to our Squarespace website. This is an operational marketing role with a clear focus: consistent, accurate, and timely communication.
Key Responsibilities
Email & Communication
Recurring Email Communication
- Maintain, run and follow up on existing email communication flows (e.g 3 month free trial communication flow)
- Keep all recurring communication accurate and aligned with updates.
On-Demand Communication
- Prepare and send incident communication (e.g., technical issues).
- Draft and execute hotfix communication and urgent product-related updates.
Release & Product Update Communication
- Prepare communication for new product releases.
- Coordinate and send release notes and related product updates.
New Flows & Long-Term Campaigns
- Set up, test, execute and follow up new email communication flows (e.g., setting up the email flow that supports our updated onboarding journey)
- Set up, initiate and run long-term thematic campaigns (e.g. setting up email campaigns aimed at promoting more secure use of our product)
Website (Squarespace)
- Execute small website updates and content adjustments.
- Maintain and update product landing pages.
- Update embedded components such as iframes on login screens.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong writing and communication skills; able to deliver clear and concise messages.
- Strong practical experience with Ortto, able to manage end-to-end email communication flows
- Basic website editing skills, ideally in Squarespace.
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style.
- Part-time role with occasional on-call support for time-sensitive communication.
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
