Who we are

WheelKeep is a team of cycling enthusiasts and engineers on a mission to make a new security standard for bicycles. We work across the Netherlands, Ukraine, and the US to give cyclists real peace of mind. Our hidden GPS tracker – built into a bike’s headset – is invisible, always-on, and paired with a professional recovery service.

Why this role

We’re at an exciting stage: launched production and are shipping product to the first customers, and we need to turn that momentum into sales. The founding team is stretched thin across product, tech, and fundraising. That’s where you come in: we need a driven marketing intern to own our digital presence and help us grow.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, brainstorm ideas, and execute our marketing plan. If you’re strong in at least one or two of the areas below, we’d love to hear from you. We’re primarily looking for someone with digital marketing skills; the other buckets are a bonus.

What you’ll do

1. Digital Marketing: Own our digital presence 

  • Keep our landing page sharp and converting using no-code tools; update content and run A/B tests

  • Add and use analytical tools to identify conversion improvements

  • SEO – optimise page content and structure to grow organic traffic

  • Optimise and run paid ads across the full funnel from first click to conversion

  • Email marketing to our Kickstarter and pre-launch leads

2. SMM & PR: Grow our community online 

  • Find and activate nano influencers who genuinely love cycling. 

  • Create content for WheelKeep's social channels — TikTok skills are a big plus. 

  • Get us featured in cycling media and newsletters, write press releases when we have news,

  • Show up organically in the cycling communities where our future customers already hang out (e.g. Facebook groups, etc.).

3. Marketing Campaigns & Partnerships: Build campaigns that reach our riders

  • Partner with cycling clubs and events to put WheelKeep in front of the right people. 

  • Work with our dealers on joint posts and campaigns. 

  • Launch and run a referral program that turns happy customers into our best sales channel. 

  • Design and order point-of-sale materials for bike stores. 

  • And if you've got an idea we haven't thought of yet — bring it. We want to hear it

You’ll fit right in if you are

  • A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Marketing looking for an internship

  • Passionate about marketing, social media and you are not afraid to experiment

  • Proactive – you find the path when given the goal

  • Comfortable working independently with light guidance

  • Excited by cycling, tech, or both

Practicalities

Minimum 4 weeks; flexible start date. Remote-first, based in or near the Netherlands preferred.
