Role
The Americas Field Marketing Manager will join Actian’s marketing team to support awareness, demand generation, and pipeline development across the Americas region, with a primary focus on the US. This role is responsible for executing regional marketing programs, including field events, sales-aligned campaigns, digital marketing activities, regional PR and influencer initiatives, and the localization of global marketing programs. Working closely with local sales teams and the wider marketing organization, the Americas Field Marketing Manager will help deliver programs that engage prospects and customers, support pipeline growth, and contribute to regional business objectives. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role serves as the primary field marketing contact for the region and helps ensure effective coordination between sales and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional market-entry and account-based marketing plan to drive lead generation, conversion, and pipeline growth in close collaboration with the AMER sales team.
  • Act as the primary marketing liaison to Sales, maintain regular communication to align goals, share updates, and gather feedback.
  • Build the market-entry strategy based on overall marketing strategy, sales input, available budget, and marketing capabilities.
  • Earn trust and provide guidance to Sales on how to best leverage marketing programs and resources.
  • Own the regional marketing plan in partnership with Sales, ensuring alignment and shared accountability.
  • Collaborate across marketing organization to ensure AMER priorities are reflected in broader campaigns and initiatives.
  • Plan and execute field marketing activities including events, webinars, digital campaigns, and email marketing — coordinating with agencies and the global marketing team where needed.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, drawing insights to improve future efforts.
  • Advocate for regional needs in global integrated campaign planning, contributing local market insights and trends.
  • Adapt corporate programs and content for AMER audiences to ensure local relevance and impact.
  • Support strategic account initiatives by aligning marketing efforts to account goals, helping shape and implement an Account-Based Experience (ABX) approach.
  • Identify and manage customer advocacy opportunities, working with internal and external stakeholders to capture compelling customer stories.
  • Lead AMER-based trade show planning and logistics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B field marketing, ideally within SaaS or data analytics.
  • Proven track record in building and executing regional, multi-channel marketing plans within budget.
  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems for campaign execution, lead tracking, and performance measurement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with short-form content creation (e.g., emails, web copy, blog posts, invites) and hands-on use of digital channels including social and email.
  • Comfortable using a variety of MarTech tools to support campaign delivery and reporting.
